To install the new teams, please go to this link and then download the Teams for work or school and then download the Windows 64-bit

Which when run will ask you to install teams, which you should be able to do without admin privileges.
When that has downloaded, you will need to unpin the old teams from your taskbar/bottom bar, to do this, hover your mouse over the teams icon on the bottom bar and right click then unpin from the taskbar.
Once the new teams is open, which you may have to log in, you will have to pin it to your taskbar as well, so you don’t lose track of it once you shut down your laptop for the day.
