During the summer vacation, we are increasing our network coverage across the College by adding more access points to every building. This work should have no downtime for the network, but there will be onsite disruption, due to drilling and building works.
To reduce inconvenience to our members we have liaised closely with the Estates Manager (Steve Johnson) and his team to schedule the work required to install the new cabling and wireless Access Points at the same time as other building work has been scheduled. This should reduce the amount of work the network project will be undertaking in actively used buildings.
The timetable below shows which buildings the project will be installing our new Access Points into during August/September along with alternate work locations and further information, some details are yet to be confirmed but we will keep this page updated as we go.
